Well, Ladies. I've only been here a short time and now I have to leave. I'd been having some spotting since last Friday and yesterday, (Monday) I started having sharp pains in my left side. I knew that was very tricky, so I went into my doc. An ultrasound confirmed an ectopic pregnancy in my left fallopian tube.
I got a shot of something or other as we are trying to handle it medically rather than surgically. But this means for the next couple of days I'm still at risk of a rupture, so I'm a bit anxious about this.
This is my second loss in the last 4 months so this has been a very difficult year for us. I asked my OB if he thought these two losses were related and he said no, but I'm not so sure. My placental abruption at 22 weeks was found to be due to an infection. And a risk for ectopic pregnancy is scar tissue or inflammation due to infection.
I wish I'd gotten to know you all better. May you all have wonderful healthy pregnancies.

I'm very sorry
I hope that it resolves smoothly, at least.
