Right...

So a year ago I saw the 'Golden Compass'...the film from the book 'Northern Lights'. ...

It said...'to be continued'....at the end of the film. And rightly so - its a trilogy so there should be three lol...

Well okay - so I figured they would come out with one once a year every December.

But December is near and no word of the next film?

Does anyone know what is going on?

My DH says they havn't even made it yet.
I read, using google, they didn't make enough money with the first to bother going on?
Tell me isnt so!!!!

But I need answers I tell you!!! lol

I don't have any concrete answers, but I remember hearing before it came out that if it didn't make enough money by the studio's standards they would not proceed with the next two movies. And I'm pretty sure Golden Compass did not succeed financially. It's sad.

This was my impression too. There will be no sequel, at least not anytime soon.
