Question about infertility testing

I had my appointment to see the OBGYN today about not being able to conceive. He ordered several blood tests (FSH, LH, thyroid, and a couple others), and he told me it was okay for me to do it today. I am on CD 22, and I have heard others saying that they needed to do their blood work during the first part of their cycle. Any insight? Thanks.

he probably wants to see what they are right now, and then will repeat them on CD 3 (esp the LH/FSH) but the thyroid can be done @ any time. good luck!!

There are different values depending where you are in your cycle. I hope that makes sense! There is a "normal" if you're in your follicular, midcycle or luteal phase. So most likely your dr will be able to tell a lot from your test no matter where in your cycle you are. Hope everything turns out well!
