off to pick my heart up off the floor and shove it back into my chest. and wish for the 1000th time we were qualified to adopt.

OP I really recommend checking out some books on adoption. it can be overwhelming to search around online for info even from the extremely knowledgeable mamas like we have here....reading books just helps get into the zone more and start at square 1. I'm sure there are rec's all over this forum if you do a search. and definitely when you are ready, reading about adoption from the adoptee's point of view. I wish you luck!
