Any good resources/books for nursing twins?

I'm currently 29 weeks pregnant with twins and I plan to nurse them. I had a lot of issues nursing my dd and quit way before I ever wanted to. I haven't encountered a lot of resources dealing with twins nursing, so I was wondering if anyone here could suggest any good books on the subject.

I've already met with a LC and plan to use her as much as I need to in order to develop a good nursing relationship with my twins, but I want to be as prepared as I can possibly be.

Thanks so much!

Mothering Multiples: Breastfeeding and Caring for Twins and More!...I'm sorry I can't find the name of the author. LLL groups often have the book in their library, and can also in some areas direct you to experienced moms in your situation. (It helps to ALSO have that other mom who can really relate to the issues of parenting 2).

Good luck and take care of yourself during these last weeks of waiting.

Definitely "Mothering Multiples" (by Karen Gromada). Terrific book.

You didn't ask, but I'll tell you anyway

In terms of sleeping, my two BEST books which helped us immeasurably get dd and ds on a workable nightime and napping routine that worked for all of us, but with absolutely no CIO:

No Cry Sleep Solution
Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child

Good luck! Gee... 29 weeks. So you're measuring about 38 now, right?!? Ahhh... those were the days!

LOL Twinmommy! I WISH I was measuring that small! Apparently I'm measuring 44 weeks! YIKES! These are gonna be some big babies! hehehe.

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone! I'll be checking them out shortly!

I also rec a couple LLL mtgs before you give birth. We had 3 twin moms coming to our mtgs for a while. There was a need for more info for multiples and nursing and now there are 2 LLL groups that sponser LLL mtgs just for MOMs in our state (MA).

for exmple (scroll down halfway):

"Having Twins" by Elizabeth Noble
"The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" a LLL book that has twin issues as well as nearly everything you would need to know about breastfeeding in general.
My county library had a great video about breastfeeding in different circumstances like twins and after a Cesarian birth. I don't know what it's called, but a video is helpful if you don't have someone to demonstrate some of the positions.
It might also be good to read about breastfeeding premies just in case. One of mine was not a premie but was super small and weak because her cord was in a knot and she wasn't getting as much nutrition. I had to work extra to teach her to latch on and stay awake to nurse. It never hurts to be prepared.
