The same thing happened to me with stringy cheese (like on pizza) and tomatoes.

hahahaha- yup- we've hopped upon the take-out train already. i'm just too bagged to cook (not that i ever enjoyed cooking anyway) and there's something about fries and a shake that seem to quell the nausea.

*ding dong* speaking of which- the pizza's here...

My only aversion right now is disinfectant. Im a major cleaner and I like to spray disinfectant about every other day to prevent flu etc. But a few days ago I did and had to leave for 2 hours because I absolutly could not tolerate the smell!
i am right there with you. it's weird because i've usually got a taste for something. prior to getting pregnant my favorite question was "what's for lunch? indian, thai, greek, chinese, italian, mexican, vietnamese -i love them all. now when someone askes what's for lunch i'm like "whatever".
i'm in england now on business and someone on the plane mentioned i should try blood sausage. i almost hurled on his lap. i'll tell you what doesn't make a pretty combination - jet lag & pregnancy.

Yesterday we went out to get our favorite burritos : and I was about 10 bites in and got horribly sick! The leftovers are in the fridge, and I gag looking at them, Sad!

On Sunday, I walked into the deli... took one look at the rows of deli meat and cheese and started to gag. My husband thought it was funny.... stupid man.

At the moment, I am totally turned off by sugary things, especially chocolate... It was actually my first pregnancy symptom, even before the sore breasts. I normally have quite a sweet tooth, but eating cookies is about as appealing to me as eating sawdust right now. The funny thing is, I'm a *huge* baker and keep baking cookies and cupcakes and things because the *idea* of baking sounds nice, but once my baked goods come out of the oven, I'm completely grossed out by them. We've got a cookie jar at work and I keep finding myself taking a cookie out of habit, taking a bite, realizing it's nasty, then throwing the rest away. As far as aversions go, I suppose it's a pretty nice one to have!
