lately I have read and enjoyed:
All jane Austen, twilight series, the eragon books, lord of the rings, harry potter, artemis fowl, the other bolyn girl...
I enjoy reading "kids" books to connect w/ the kids in our homeschool group.
But yes, I wouldn't mind reading some books written for adults too LOL.

I'd recommend the Earthsea series by Ursula LeGuin. I liked all of the books you listed and I really loved this series, I'm finishing the last two books now.

I just got this movie from Netflix. I started watching it last night and said this would be a much better book than movie.... I'll have to start reading it.

I like the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series by Alexander McCall Smith. You can whip through them easily but the stories and characters are really interesting. I always wish the books were longer

Possession by A.S. Byatt is a wonderful read. Even though the ending was perfect, I almost cried when I finished because I didn't want it to end.

Hi there!

I love your recent reads list; they're some of my favorites too!

I think you would like The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks. I am about halfway through it, and it is very Tolkien derivitive. There are two others in that series, and I may read them as well.

Have fun!

Find the Alanna books by Tamora Peirce. They rock.
