I am new on here.I just had my baby 5 months ago and my depression got worse after her father walked out on us when she was 2 months old.I am seeing him now sometimes on weekends but I feel like he is not supportive at all and seems to not care about us.Thankfully I have my family supporting me and my daughters so I dont have to worry financially but I still feel depressed about at times and wanted to know if there is anyone who can relate.

I just wanted to send some and your way. I'm sorry you're going through this; I can't imagine. I'm glad you're feeling grounded by your kids; isn't it incredible how they can do that??

I separated from DDs' dad when they were 1 and 2.5, and it was hard and lonely and depressing. It did get better with time.

to you and be certain that it will get better! It's wonderful that your family is so supportive too! Focus on yourself and your daughter, and try not to think about your ex! Hang in there, you can get through this horrible period!
