Could this [finally] be labor? update #16

Last night I started having contrax, as usual I ignored them. But they were a little different, more pressure and cramping and less bowling ball feeling. I still ignored them, but they were pretty regular just the same. I went to sleep, figuring they'd be gone by morning. When DH's alarm went off at 3:30am, I woke up too. And guess what?

They are still here! Dare I : yet? After weeks of BH / maybe prodromal labor, maybe not, I admit I am wary. As it is 4:30am here, I am not willing to wake up my midwives yet. I will say that I could not go back to sleep, wether that be from excitement or the contrax, I don't know.

I guess since it's been another hour of contrax, I should time them? Still feeling sceptical, but here's to hope!

Thanks. When the sun comes up I will go walk. If it's not raining, that is.

DH is so cute. He called me from work: "are you sure you don't want me to come home?" I told him honey, I could be like this all day, or this could be prodromal labor and go away in a few hours. Just chill. Aye. And that is why I'm not telling anyone else at the house how I'm feeling. I don't want to be hovered over and get everyone excited about nothing.

I hope it's the real deal for you! I'm up, have been all night. I'm contracting like crazy still, but I know nothing's going to happen until I'm rested...just can't sleep. I've been on phenergan for so long, and I'm trying to quit taking it, and I'm addicted. I can't sleep without it. Sorry for hijacking! Hope your baby is here soon!

I was timing them for a while after I posted here, they were about 8 minutes apart. Then at 6:30 I suddenly felt exausted and I slept for three hours. I woke up havign a big one, so I guess I'll start timing again. I dunno, I figure I will call my midwife in a little while, see what she thinks. I want so badly to have this baby today!!!

Oh nevermind. 22 hours of this BS and it's going nowhere.

Muffin has decided that he doesn't want to be born this year. He likes 2009 better.
