oh nerdy i am so sorry!!
at 40wk, 2d with ds i had a full 24 hours of consistent, noticeable contractions that went NO WHERE! I got so tired and frustrated i prayed "God, dangit! i'm done! either makes these stop so i can get some rest or give me something REAL!" : i got my wish...they stopped. i got 3 hours of good sleep, then woke up with real contractions and bloody show. my ds was born 9 hours later. I am praying for you!! (((hugs)))

Same thing here... and it was driving me crazy until last night, when I finally deduced the only way to preserve my sanity was to ignore the cramps and contrax best I could. When it's "time," I won't be able to ignore them any further, right?

BTW...my ob said last appt that his professional opinion, his honest opinion, of when the baby will come is "before December 31st." Ha.
