Can you guess what I did last night?

Why- gave birth to an adorable freaking baby of course! :

He was born into my arms in a natural water birth, last night at 11:35 pm- 21 inches, just under 9 pounds. He's a chunker- and he better be, because if he didn't have anything to show for being 10 days late- I would have been cranky.

Water broke at 9:00 AM but contractions didn't start until 8:00 PM.

And I just have to throw this out there- I feel VICTORIOUS. Utterly victorious. Ladies, you have no idea the heartache and trauma I suffered after the birth of my first. It was a hospital nightmare. I was bullied. I didn't get my natural birth. I hated it.

Sooo, I have been fantasizing about an empowering natural birth ever since- and I got it. It brings tears to my eyes that I did it. I REALLY DID IT. I started doubting myself before the pushing phase because contractions were very intense but I DID IT!

I will post the birth story soon. You'll love it!!! I know I did!!! And for the first time, I can walk away feeling successful. I'm not bragging- I hope it doesn't sound like I am. I am just rather shocked and excited that it turned out exactly how I wanted and my spirit just NEEDED that.

Thanks for reading- better go rest!! And thanks for all your support the last few weeks, mamas. I NEEDED that too!

Love ya!
