Just moved to CO

Hi mamas,

I just moved to Colorado about 1 1/2 months ago and so far am loving it. I am relatively new to posting on motheringdotcommune, too. Looking forward to getting to know some of you.

I'm wondering if anyone has any family docs in the Lakewood/Golden area to recommend. We are, of course, AP, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, selectively vaccinating, etc... I'm also on the lookout for some good chiros, too.

Hope you are getting settled and meeting new people in your area!! We are in south metro so I don't really know of doctors in your area. I have several friends in Boulder who I could probably ask for doctor recommendations though...

I just wanted to reply to this for anyone who might be looking themselves, but Dr. Julia Atkins at New West Family medicine in Golden is AWESOME:

relaxed about vax, pro long-term BF, pro-stay at home moms, anti-antibiotic, etc, etc. She actually told me that I was probably "wise for not vax my littlest since she is at home with me and not in day care."
