Being on "record"

I just saw something about this is another post. Do they keep actual records of non-vaxed kids in some database? How to get on record? Like when I went to the ped (I dont go on a reg basis, I took him once as a newborn and once at 7 months when he was sick and thats it). I didnt tell the dr I was NEVER getting vax, I just said I dont beleive in throwing all those toxins into a developing immune system. He was completely fine with that. Does that put us on a list or something?

Personally I think ALL of us off the beaten path types are in some grand govn't wate of good money data base. After all, we are the ones they gotta look out for, the ones who think for themselves and do not follow the current trends or run after the latest and greated, new and improved doo-dads. We are the ones who continue to keep the true spirit of the very forst colonists that we are capable of thinking for ourselves, able to care for and educate our children ourselves and we don't need the government to grow bigger and bigger just to do more and more things that are truly a parent's/families job anyway.....

We are a big time threat. If we will not accept what some "expert" has to say then think of all the other things we may not swallow like a good little television-fed zombie!!

If people, and many are, just going alone with whatever the latest "expert" tells them then think of all the free research the govn't can do by sending some new "expert" on such and such to convice us all that we absolutely must do this or that, allow this or that done to us or our children, or whatever!

We are the Boston Tea partiers of our day....and that scares the lollies off the govn't.

I believe that it is completely up to the physician & if your state has a vaccine registry.

This is why I keep repeating the message to CYA (Cover Your Arse). Have an exemption affidavit already made up (regardless of child's age). Know what your rights are.

Where do you get an exemption form? Can I just print the online ones out and sign it or does it have to be from the state? I am getting one ASAP. This is soooo ridiculous that you have to EXEMPT your child from dangerous vaccines. Seems very backwards. What's next, an exemption form for not using formula?

I have a notarized exemption on file at school (through ECFE--early childhood program). Is that enough, or should I have one to carry around with me? What is the best way to CMA?

The form above is just for the school. I have printed out my own philisophical exemption. There is short, to the point one & a long one that goes into details. I will locate the past threads & post links.

I have seen it recommended to have three copies of your affidavit.

-A copy on your child's medical file
-A copy in the diaper bag (or glove box)
-Another copy on file at home.

Right now; I have a copy for each of my kids in my file cabinet. Guess I should follow the above advice!

I have a high level of frustration regarding the CMA part of not vaccinating.

There are only religious and medical exemptions in my state. So, I print off the form and fill it all out. Don't I still need a doctor to sign it for a medical waiver? I hardly see how I can use the religious exemption and make that fly if I ever had to use it for more than getting my son into kindergarten.

I'm paranoid. How far can a government agency take this? Is it possible that if I do not vaccinate, I will be separated from my child for any length of time?

Hi Desiree! Haven't talked to you in a while, so I sent you a pm.

I carry an exemption in my diaper bag & have a copy at home. Though DD is not of school age, yet, I use that form. However, it's not notarized. I guess I should do that. I don't have a copy on file with DD's ped because I'm just not comfortable with that. I figure I'll be able to provide it, if it's ever needed in a medical emergency. The ped said she'd have me sign her waiver after DD was born, but she never did.

As far as a "list" goes, our state has a vaccine registry. So, considering they have record of DD's birth, they could compare it to the vaccine registry & know she's not vaxed. I've heard of many parents receiving postcards in the mail from their local health dept. reminding them their child is past due for vaxes.

Yes kimberly, I get postcards in the mail too. I always wonder if they send them to everyone because they say "just a reminder" on them. LOL But I bet its specifically for us......ack! I hate that "they" (whoever that is) has record of us! (Got your pm, thanks! Pm'd ya back.

to the mommies that were talking about getting vax notices in the mail...........i used to get them too. only i got them when i WAS vaxing. and i was using public assistance so that probly had something to do w/ mine.
