Looking for a new pediatrician in the northwest Ar area, someone who is ok with delayed vaccination, or just someone you like around here.

Im interested in this too.

I have a ped for my daughter that I really like but I didn't start taking her til she was 3 years old so I don't know how she feels about delayed vaccs and bfing and all that. Her name is Dr. Gregory and she is at Willow Creek Ped Clinic.

Now Im looking for a ped for the baby Im expecting in May and Im kind of at a loss. I have a NON recommendation though ( how helpful) Dr. Ball at the Northwest ped clinic is EXTREMELY un bf friendly and formula pushing. So just FYI.

We currently use nwa peds. we saw dr. ball one time and he made a very pro formula comment. now when I make an appointment, i tell them anyone but dr. ball! We use silvey a lot, I like him a lot. We recently discussed delaying pox and mmr, he didn't bat an eye at delaying mmr, but really urged the pox shot, in the end he sent me home with info packets, but respected my decision. Not sure how he will react to the next babe, we will be doing things different with the next, now that I am more educated. I guess he is pretty good, just wish there was someone more like minded around here.

Thanks for the reccomendation. I guess Dr. Ball is getting quite a rep for himself among the "crunchy" mamas! I will look into Silvey. I delayed MMR for my dd by simply not taking her to the dr for a year and a half.... so yeah.

Due to defamation concerns, please choose your words carefully and take any negative reviews to PM. Thanks!

Just wanted to let any NWA people know that I heard a recommendation from a fellow mom that Dr. O'connel with Northwest Health is supposed to be great about delayed vax, bfing etc... I haven't had any experience with him, just heard it word of mouth and wanted to let people know.
