When is this insanity going to stop?

I don't care how many "studies" they write about....as the mom of kids with many allergies I can't help but think that all the vaxes the older ones got affected them somehow. My youngest, who is vax free, is the only one who doesn't have food allergies, eczema or asthma (although he did react to amoxicillan)

According to the researchers, there was no association between immunization with any particular routine childhood vaccine and an increased risk of allergic sensitization or more severe eczema --
There is no association between SIDS and vaccines, nor between encephalitis and vaccines, nor austims and vaccines....what can I say?

Vaccines are innocent little pricks. That's it!

And the CDC, WHO, AAP, ACIP, NACI... etc. etc. are big ones.

I'm sorry, but they will continue to spout out their nonsense "studies" as long as they think they will even remotely increase their bottom line by getting us back into the vaccine line.

I was actually told today that I made the right decision... by my daughters school teacher! I was also told that I my decision may be saving my youngest from regressing into autism as she already has gut issues, yeast problems, eczema and food allergies. All of them started shortly after her last set of vax's. My 3 year old is in developmental preschool for speech therapy after she developed acute encephalitis and started a chronic bout of ear infections that lasted for 9 months! Her hearing was so muddled that she couldn't hear us to mimic us and learn to talk... so she stopped. She's still almsot a year behind her peers.

But no... there's no association with any of that and vaccines. Do they even listen to parents or just to the drug reps who get paid to lie to these doctors and bribe them with free pens and dinners and all-expense-paid confrences?

What a bunch of bullsh$t! Tell that to the study done in Sweden comparing the health of Steiner school kids to public school kids. The public school kids were sicker. The only difference is that Steiner school kids have less vaccines and less antibiotics.
There are studies that show Steiner kids have less eczema, asthma, etc etc.
European studies are numerous on this subject.

Yes, and the Steiner families and schools are under attack for spreading disease.

The only sickness that counts is infectious. It doesn't matter how many children are ill with chronic stuff like allergies or asthma or diabetes, as long as they are NOT coming down with measles or mumps or polio.

I've heard about that. It's because the US Gov't is putting pressure on European countries because of the measles outbreaks here.
Switzerland is running pro-vax TV ads. They can run all the ads they want, Anthroposophic families are not going to vax.

My concern with the study is that they compared vaccinated atopic children against vaccinated atopic children; why not have a control group made up of children who don't have and aren't predisposed to atopic dermatitis and compare the rates of atopy? I don't understand how they can rule out vaccines as a contributing factor if the children in the study either already had atopy or had significant family history of it?

Could anyone tell me what vaccines are related to ezcema? Both my kids have mild ezcema and there is a lot of asthma in DH's family. Thx.

My 20 month old with multiple allergies and asthma has had NO shots so I can't say that they contributed *but* I can just imagine what may have happened to her if I hadn't done my homework and refused every single shot, especially the flu shot which is made with egg (her worst allergy) and was recommended no, pushed hard by her allergist of all people. :

Its particularly disturbing that shots are pushed harder on kids with allergies and asthma when they are the ones who are more likely to have complications.

It's not any specific vaccines that cause allergies, asthma, eczema. My DS has all and he's not vaxed. But I expected it due to family history.

My DS is also extremely allergic to eggs. Who knows what the flu shot could do him.

But there does seem to be a correlation between vaccinations and antibiotics and atopy in children. I believe that it has to do with digestive tract health.
