6 week ultrasound avg heartrate?

Question for you ladies.


At my 6 week ultrasound (just got info at pre-natal today), I apparently was measuring 6 weeks 2 days and the heartbeat rate was 94 BPM.

So first of all, i'm up 2 days (for now) from where I am according to my last cycle date but isn't 94 BPM on the low side still? Trying to find averages fro this stage... Dr says it's ok.. and she says they expect AVERAGE of 100-120 at this stage.. and that i'm only 6 off ... should I feel comfortable with this?

I'm going again in about 2 weeks or so for another u/s but just curious to know your thoughts.

I don't know, hon, I'm sorry. At my 6 1/2 w scan they didn't give me a number, just said that it "looked good". But if your docs don't sound worried about it, it's probably just fine, right? :

I would agree that if the doc seems ok, then you are probably ok.

Normal at 6 weeks is anywhere from 90-110. At 6w2d I had a heartbeat of 111 which my idiot nurse practitioner (thankfully my doc and midwife aren't idiots) was not happy with. She said "We like to see it a little higher." Considering the heart JUST started beating and it's not really POSSIBLE for it to be much higher at that gestation, yeah.

But 6 weeks, 94BPM is right on track. Come, say, 8 weeks, 160s is normal. After that, 140s.

thank you - i'll try to go with "normalcy" right now.

I should be thankful to have at least seen and heard a heartbeat this time, no matter what happens from thsi point forward. This is the furthest i have EVER been in my 3 pregnancies
