I've been on a knitting spree lately. What can I say, I'm nesting. I actually have several projects that I haven't managed to get pictures of yet. But I do have pictures of several of them, including baby longies, toddler longies, hats of all shapes and sizes, lacy baby blankets and lacy baby sweaters, a toddler sweater with home-made buttons, etc, if you want to check them out!

Wow, you must be nesting. That is a lot of beautiful stuff! The sunny yellow baby blanket is beautiful. I love the design that you created.

Oh my, those are all so wonderful!
And I just love your blog I have a babe due around Dec 12th and I'm practically drooling over that blanket (the solstice description at the end didn't help either, as I'm a solstice baby myself ).
I wish I could knit that much that quickly, nice work Mama

Wow, you are one talented mama! Your fos are really beautiful. The sunny blanket is sure to be an heirloom. But looking at that longie-clad bottom sitting in dirt is making me cringe! That doesn't look like peace fleece. How do you wash them? I totally felted a nice pair of longies trying to wash them after my dd played in the dirt.

Really beautiful work! Funny, I have a Knitting Pure and Simple hooded tunic sweater in a drawer, also sleeveless, which has lingered there since about June or July--must get past my sleeve aversion and finish it so ds can wear it!

Aw, thank you!

Think of Winter- The longies weren't Peace Fleece, the green sweater with the branch buttons was. The longies are Nature Wool.

I make a lot of my kids' clothes (both knitting and sewing) and I've just gotten to the point where I had to get over that feeling of needing to be gentle with them. I used to have to bite my tongue because I would see them out splashing in a mud puddle or something and all I could think was, "Don't you know how long it took me to make that?!?!?" lol! I always make things a bit big. I expect them to felt at least a bit over their life-time. Honestly, most of the time I just put my hand-knits in on the gentle cycle on our front loading washer! (wow, I think I just heard a collective *gasp* there...perhaps I better duck out of here quick... )

I just meant that PF is the fiber I've used that I can imagine letting my kids sit in dirt like that! That's a good tip about making things a little big. You really have gorgeous dc and are make really beautiful, useful things.
