Sheepy Pant Gusset Problem?

This makes no sense.

The pattern says : *M1R, k2, M1L, k to next marker * repeat

It seems like i should repeat *M1R, k2, M1L to the next marker and after that marker knit to the beg round marker. Right?

If that is what it means it should have been worded better.

I think the pattern is correct. You want to add stitches in the front and in the back. There are 4 sts increased for each round, 2 in the front and 2 in the back, centered around the marker.
