Hi--I know that this is a longshot, but I thought that I would give it a try. A friend of our family is being deployed overseas and needs a good foster home for his dog Gracie until approximately September 2009.
Here's an email from his mom explaining the situation. She said that I could post it.
We already have two dogs, or I would take Gracie in in a heartbeat. If any of you know anyone who could help Gracie out, please let me know. Thank you!

| My son, George who is in the Air Force was deployed oversees again in July 2008. George's dad has a dog already, I have an older cat and a small place with not much of a yard and no fencing. We are desperate to find a foster home for "Gracie" until September 2009. I am attaching a picture of George and Gracie and then one of Gracie alone. His dog has been with my daughter in Hagerstown, but she has two other dogs and it is just too much for her household. "Gracie" is 3 years old wonderful, loving dog, a greyhound/lab mix that is spayed and loves to play catch with a ball. She is good with children but needs to be the only dog in a household. What we are looking for is someone that will foster car "Gracie" until George returns when he will then be able to take her when his duty station changes to Japan approximately Sept. 2009. My son loves this dog so much and we don't know of anyone that could help in this situation. Gracie loves to sit next to you and put her head in your lap while you watch TV or rest. She is a calm, sweet dog and loves to run and fetch. |
