Yarn rec for LTK stripey slippers?

Would Paton's Merino work for these? Would I need to double it up? I have a TON of paton's and I'd really like to be able to use it up!! I have 4 pair I need to make! Thanks!

Patons would be nice and soft, but slippers would pill like crazy and the soles would probably felt. If I were going to use Patons for stripey slippers, I'd make them way big and felt them. For non-felted, I would use Peace Fleece, because it wears so well.
HTH!

I've used patons and it works great - gets gauge easily. PP is right though that it does felt, which isn't really a bad thing on the soles anyway since then they'll be less liekly to develop holes, and they don't felt so much that it affects the sizing at all - more like they just mold to the wearer's feet

I've also used bartlett's 2 ply, peace fleece, my 2 ply farm yarn, red heart, cascade 220 and a whole host of random yarns in my stash that I can't even remember, LOL!
