do symptoms come and go?

I'm totally freaked out because I have my energy back this evening and all the nausea is gone. Please, someone tell me that this is normal...

For me they do. It changes for me from hour to hour. I was running around cleaning the house this morning feeling great and energized and as soon as I sat down with my dds I fell asleep. Try not to worry yourself too much, easier said than done I know. I still feel like my period is going to start any minute now and I keep running inot the bathroom to check.

I kind of wondered the same thing. Last time my symptoms were constant from right after I woke up until about 7 pm when they at least got a bit better. After a week of being really sick, today was better. I was still sick but it wasn't as bad and I could at least function. I'm torn between worrying something is wrong (I know it isn't likely) and being happy to feel better.

I was just reading my journal from when I was pregnant with my first, and I definitely had days where I freaked out because I felt completely normal again all of a sudden. It's sad how we freak out when we don't feel sick for a moment instead of enjoying it, but that's how I am too!

Mine do. I'm a little freaked out because I have barely any symptoms at all.

I am 4w1d today, and my symptoms have been coming and going since I got my BFP. I think it is totally normal at this stage for them to come and go. I remember the same thing happening when I was pg with my dd. We just have to relax and enjoy being pg, but I know that's easier said than done.

I'm six weeks today, and my nausea and everything is back. It sucks to feel sick, but I freak out when I don't feel sick! My first ultrasound is this Wednesday, and I am hoping I can relax a bit once I see what's going on in there. Although I know anything *can* happen, even after the first trimester, for most people *nothing does* and there's nothing I can do about it anyway, right?

My symptoms absolutely come and go! THis weekend, I felt pretty good, just a little hungry. I woke up this morning around 7, and have been so tired I'm just laying on the couch taking naps and eating little snacks, I feel like I pulled an all-nighter twice in a row or something!

Totally normal to have symptoms come and go! Enjoy when you are feeling good and make someone give you a foot rub when you are not

This is my first pregnancy, but my guess would be that that's pretty normal. I mean, with anything, your symptoms can vary from day to day and hour to hour, and it makes sense that at some points you'll be better rested/have eaten the magical right thing/whatever to make you feel good. I think it's probably healthiest to try not to stress too much....but I know it's hard. I've been vaguely worried about the vague but consistent crampy feelings I've been having. (But honestly, I kind of think they're gas. )

FWIW, I had almost constant cramping from 4 DPO to 15 weeks pregnant and I now have a happy healthy 16 month old to show for it. No cramps with this pregnancy though...that was actually one of the reasons I refused to believe I was pregnant for the first few days.

This is me exactly! Of course combined with some brown spotting I am imagining the worst. I have been eating eggs in the morning the last few days and I think the protein may be helping with the morning sickness.

Do you know *why* people cramp during pregnancy? I'm curious (and may google it) but I wondered if any of you could fill me in.

It's reassuring, however, to know that I am not the only one with this frequent, constant cramping. It's very mild, but very frequently there. (I had a massage today, and it seems to have settled down a bit since then. Added bonus of massage? )

I have had so much energy today that it really scared me! I'm complaining when I'm exhausted but then worried when I actually feel pretty good. I annoy myself!

Apparently it has to do with the uterine muscles starting to relax in preparation for stretching out.

I have been wondering this as well, I am looking at it more like stretching/pulling, not cramping?

I'm like that right now only with my energy level. I seem to have one normal day and then one day where I'm just exhausted. Maybe I'm over-doing it on the good days.

My symptoms fluctuate a lot even within the day. The roast that made my mouth water at lunch just about did me in when I caught a whiff of it this evening!
