I'm glad it went well! It's great to have a care provider you connect with isn't it!

Congrats on telling! As much as I don't really enjoy telling people, it makes it seem much more real when someone else knows!

Because I was sick, I couldn't start that until Thursday night. Working 4 days a week made it pretty hard to get the baking in.I was going to do a craft as well but had to nix that since I was just too sick and had no time. Buh. I hope next week goes a bit better! Pregnancy-wise, I'm doing just fine. 11 weeks and 2 days in and feeling good. Wearing maternity clothes because the bump is that pronounced now. There's no hiding it!
I hope you and the rest of your family are feeling better. Stomach bugs are no fun at the best of times.
I'm amazed at all you got done while feeling so crappy!
AFM: 10 weeks today!
: I think the nausea is starting to ease off a little. I'm still really gaggy a lot but I haven't actually thrown up since Wednesday.
We are having a very quiet weekend as unfortunately DH has caught something nasty and feels like crap. He's got a fever and keeps getting chilled. He was freezing last night and is tired and achy today. Poor guy. I really hope I don't catch it though.
I made a quick stop in at a little store near my place that is run by a couple of doulas and picked up a couple more books and some pregnancy tea. They have a great selection of natural pregnancy / childbirth / parenting items including diapers, wraps and cute toys and clothes. I resisted the urge to start shopping, but I think I'll be back there a lot!
We have our 2nd midwife appointment on Tuesday. I'm excited! Does anyone know what the likelyhood of hearing the heartbeat is at 10 weeks 3 days? I don't know if they'll even try this early or if we'll wait until the next one.
Anyways, that's probably enough rambling! I hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend!
