felt playfood question

I want to start making felt play food. I found a place to order the felt but what do you sew it together with. I'm a newbie at crafts

I use thread if I want a more delicate looking seam, or embroidery floss if you want it nice and sturdy.

I jsut posted a sushi tutorial on my blog,actually!

It doesn't use the felt you sew, though, it's pure wool that's washed in hot soapy water so it turns into felt. It's a lot of fun to do it that way, as you can do that with your child as well, you jsut get a bowl of warm water with soap & "wash" & squeeze the felt in there.

here are a couple of things i have made,

I just get an idea and play around with the pattern. I use alot of wool felt and then get wool sweaters and felt them. I try to use all natural products, no preservitives lol. I use bamboo filler for the insides.

thanks! I made some cherries and meat/veggie patties and also a bunch of grapes. I have fun with it. :
