I've already tested as I got a bunch of internet cheapies. Just as I know peeing on something won't make me pregnant, I also know that getting a BFN prior to a period being due (and sometimes after) does not mean I am not pregnant.

Hi! I'm sick this weekend with the flu =[ so I haven't been paying much attention to impending O (other than to realize we probably will miss the chance this cycle bc we use condoms after day 8). I'm still not charting but I want to. Altho last time I was charting (to avoid)we had the twins! LOL So I'm a little anxious to bring out the thermometer in front of dh!!

Anyway, I'll check in later when I'm feeling better. Back to bed for now.

Me - I posted this is the generally fertility forum, but didn't get any replies so I'm wondering if it's really not so common. BUT...do people in their forties have the ability to freeze their own eggs and hold them ? somewhere ? for later use? My sister is 40 and single and may be looking for options to have a baby in a few years. Since we've never done any of the infertility procedures I'm completely lost when it comes to possibilities. Any suggestions???

lovbeingamommy - I think your sis would have to have the eggs fertilized and she can have the embryos frozen to be used at a later time. Unless something has changed, I don't think eggs alone will survive the freeze/thaw process.

Oh that explains why no one may have answered in the fertility forum. I had no idea about that. Thanks for you answer

I went to The Peoples Clinic (sliding scale clinic) yesterday for their open house and had a free acupuncture treatment. I have scheduled a full appt. on Tuesday. The acupuncturist was lovely. Her name is Donna very welcoming and kind. She asked if there was anyting I would liek her to address I told her DH and I wanted another baby and that we are both 45 etc... She got a HUGE smile and said "you are my favorite kind of client" "I can help" Well it was supposed to be roughly 20 minutes for the free treatment and she left me there for an hour relaxing with my needles in. She had asked me if I chart and where I am at in my cycle. (My other doc never asked those things and didn't change up treatment anytime I went unless I had a headache or something different he would add points to needle.)
We will talk more about herbs etc on Tuesday I am super excited. I think I found the right person to treat me.
