increase in shingles and the chickenpox vax. whats the connection?

it was touched on in another thread but i've been thinking about it...
i know 5 people in the last 5 years who have had shingles. the youngest person was 30 at the time the oldest person 65.
i hardly ever heard of anyone getting shingles before. maybe one person in my entire life until about 5 years ago.
what is the connection between the chicken pox vaccine and increase in shingles? do you think there is one?
i think there is but i'm not sure why.
thoughts?

The circulation of chicken pox is what keeps things like shingles at bay. Every time a person with immunity to chicken pox is exposed to the chicken pox virus, their immunity is boosted. The chicken pox vaccine has reduced the circulation and therefore your immunity doesn't get boosted like it should. This allows for the dormant virus to come out as shingles.
