Slightly freaked out...

Thread Starter
I was crunching numbers this weekend and realized how much I was actually contributing to the family finances...now that I'm on maternity leave through the rest of 2008 I'm a little concerned, especially with the holidays approaching soon. We can make it, but it'll be really tight...yikes!

We are in the same boat. Holidays will be tight. Hopefully DS #1 will not realize DS #2 is only getting diapers for Christmas! Time spent with DSs is more important than $.. Besides, if I never leave the house I won't be tempted to spend as much (I hope)!

Don't get too stressed, it could always be ALOT worse! I haven't been able to work since April because of my Fibromyalgia which has done the opposite to me than most Fibros report. I made more than twice as much as my husband. We're hoping that everything will calm down soon after, but it's not the common trend for this either... Thank GOD for family and that we rent from my parents who have been a LIFE saver though it's not fair to them. Only $1,000 left on credit cards which will be gone pretty fast on gas and groceries. So, chin up! Things could be A L O T worse, even than this! That's what I try to tell myself at least

It will all work out. We were really worried when I got out of the military about how we would make ends met. I honestly didn't think it was going to work but Ive been home with DD for almost a year and a half and we are still making it. Yes its tight but it works out in the end.
