And the moon is full...

I wonder if a full moon will have any effect on our babies. I had DD under a full moon--it sure would be nice to have this one under one, too!

It did look full didnt it? However, my calendar says the full moon is actually thursday. Anyone else have a calendar that says anything different? I also had my son the day after the full moon. And my DD is Sunday, so going into labor NOW would be just fine. Last year I had an internal exam, found out I was dialted to 3 1/2, and an hour later, my water broke. Coincidence? Who cares! I have an appt today at 1030am, so hopefully I will have the same results? FINGERS CROSSED FOR US ALL LADIES! Lets meet some babies! :

oh yea, i've been watching that moon too. plus way back before i told anyone of my pg, my (somewhat clairvoyant) sister dreamed i was pg and had a baby nov 13. which is the full moon!!! i fully expect to go until december, but a girl can hope and dream, right?

I thought the full moon was later in the week.. I would check but the clouds are covering the moon and its pouring down rain. Either way, with the way its raining I don't want the baby to come until it stops.

my calendar says thursday, which is fine with me as i'm due 2 days later. i have been hoping we could have this baby sometime during the night so we dont have to call sitters for our kids, they can just wake up to a wonderful baby brother/sister surprise!! our sitter we have lined up in gone for a conferance in germany from thurs to sunday...so if baby comes during that time, i hope it's during the night!...and i think a full moon would be absolutely beautiful to birth in/with/to (how do i phrase that?? *scratches head*)

well, let the craziness begin...

i've got all the indicators, but really mild (EDD 13th). mw thinks i'm waiting for dh to finish last day on assignment (today) and sis to arrive (3-4 hours). she's had 2 other moms start up today though, so she requested i hold off on the castor oil til tomorrow, if i'm interested in that.
i am sooo ready!

my edd is also the 13th ~ I thought with a full moon due date I couldn't be any luckier, but alas I think this baby is going to stay put for another week or 2(prove me wrong baby, prove me wrong I know anything could happen.....but I just don't feel it happening.

I looked up the lunar chart for the year my son was born (2006) and it said the moon was full on May 13th. I went into labor that night and he was born on May 14th in the morning.

Thursday is the 13th again. If I go into labor that night and my baby is born the next morning they will be exactly 2.5 years apart!!!

I'm still haboring hopes that after all my alfalfa and vit C this baby will be born in caul. Born in caul under a full moon? Now that would be a story.

I've been wondering about the full moon too. Guess we'll find out sooner than later.

This is getting crazy. After my above post, I started to believe that this baby will be born Thursday night. I really really believe it.

I have had painful prodromal labor since Friday morning that stopped yesterday when I decided that he will be born on Thursday. I slept through the night last night for the first time in weeks.

what do you make of all of this?!?!?

hey ally you never know! there is a strong mind-body connection!

nerdy- caul babes are awesome! my ds was born in the caul, in the birthpool!

Titania- thanks! my brain, anyone seen it lately? seems i put it up somewhere for safe keeping...now if i could just remember where...??

I looked up the lunar calendars for all my births, NONE of my past babe's have been born near a full moon period...so maybe i am one it doesn't apply to? of course, here's for hoping: i was never full term near a full moon period before either!

So the full moon is in 13 hours 15 min or 37 hours 15 min? I'm confused! My midwife stripped my membranes today so hopefully that with the full moon will help.
