My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...
This is the prettiest carrier, and fit my shoulders and figure (at 5'6") much better than the Ergo. I got it when my daughter was about nine months, two years ago - it doesn't appear to have...
This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...
To anyone looking for a carrier, BECO is the brand!
I recently had purchased the Gemini, great carrier! It has everything you will ever need and want, its ergonomic, comfy, organic, made...
Where are you looking? Have you checked Trader Joes or Whole Foods? The corn-free list has some leads (though the entry is a little older, so you'd have to recheck everything). http://corn-freefoods.blogspot.com/
I'll probably end up eating some sad Whole Ranch turkey hotdogs for Thanksgiving with my sweet potatoes and rice
The nearest WFs is something like 4 hours away (Salem, OR I believe) and the nearest TJs is an hour away, so no I haven't checked either.
Whole Ranch turkey hot dogs sound so good. I've never heard of nor seen that brand though.
I checked FM and Safeway, the only 2 grocery stores in our town. I'd order one through the co-op but $6/lb for a turkey seems a bit much for me.
I know that the Trader Joe's kosher fresh turkey was safe for us last year (I believe the ingredients were turkey, kosher salt). I just checked prices here and it's $2.29/lb. and they're available starting on Friday. They have a "natural" turkey as well, for $1.79/lb (these prices are in CT) but I don't know what the ingredients are for that one. It may be worth it to make the 1 hour trip and get a bunch and freeze them. My TJ's is a half hour away.
Would you be interested in ordering a turkey by mail? I don't have a site right off the top of my head, but know I could find one or two, from small farms - if you were interested. Their sites tend to talk about how their turkeys are raised and so on - and you could certainly email or call with specific questions.
