Oh, gosh, I wish you lived near me. I teach a wonderful two hour class that includes dance and/or tumbling, theater, music and art (depending on the ages for the class). Plus, for the younger ones, we have a short book and snack time in the middle of class. In many ways, it is easier for the youngest kids than a one hour class in one subject. And two hours is long enough for a parent to go DO something - but parents are always welcome to watch through the window (and you can hear almost everything).
I do themes - for a few weeks in a row, much of the music, theater games, imagery during gymnastics, the book during snack, etc relates to the theme - say, pirates, cowboys or ballerinas. Then, the last week of class for that "theme", I dress in costume to match the theme.
We dance with scarves, play with (percussion) instruments, paint, run, skip, cartwheel, make faces and act out stories.
I love this job!

: It's similar to Kindermusik with a bit more freedom and leeway for the children. And I personally think the music from Music Together is much easier to swallow. More family(translation; adult)friendly. Confession? We're actually listening to a Music Together CD right now!
