I still havent erased the PMs from my inbox and now see that the last ones were dated at a year ago now. Somehow the other day I was linked back to a really old thread where she helped me through a breast crisis of my own.

Does anyone keep in touch with her family still? And Amy's for that matter? I still think about them lots.

Go and ask MRSB on the Sept. 2007 thread on Toddlers. She is still in contact with MightyMama's family. She can give you updates on the boys. I can tell you they are all doing well. Her youngest just turned a year at the end of August. Her passing will be a year anniversary late December. That's so amazing that she touched so many ppl here. I was in the Sept. 07 DDC with her and I thought she was great. I miss seeing her posts too.

Thanks for the mini update! I remember her passing well... it happened to be right on the Solstice. I got a couple of updates earlier on through the mailing list on the caring bridge site, but nothing in ages

Me, too.

I think about her & Amy often. It's really hard accidentally stumbling across posts from either of them in old threads.

I just did a search for "kid ate cat poop", and there it was-- a post started by mighty-mama in 2005 when the same thing happened to her. At first I didn't notice who had started the thread. I felt so reassured and so much better after reading what everyone, and especially she, had to say, as always.

Jessica's DH touches base with me every now and then via e-mail. He sent me a lovely text message for Mother's Day.

Mighty Mama touched my life as well. She was the only one who knew anything about having to wean for chemo. She helped me. I was asked for advice about that same thing recently and I wished for her to give the advice instead of or in addition to me, with her soft touch...
