Can you use buttons as fasteners on crocheted wool wraps? I'm experimenting here trying to figure out how to crochet and I thought buttons would make a nice adjustable fit, but none of the pictures of cloth bottomed babies I've seen use them.

yup, if you want

I'd just make sure you sew them on extra tight, maybe with thread, as they can obviously be a choking hazard.

This was my thought as well. And be sure to check the buttons regularly, and resew them as needed if the threads get loose. Do you know how to crochet button holes? It's important to make sure that the buttonholes are the right size for the buttons you have- too big and the buttons won't stay closed securely, and too small it's hard to fasten the buttons.

You can crochet button holes? I was just gonna sew on buttons that fit through the holes best I suppose I have more thinking to do on this. =)
