For those with older nurslings - when do you stop telling people? - Page 4

It's sad to me that my 26mo is self weaning. I'm very proud to still be nursing her and would tell anyone.

\I don't hide it. And my ds looks older than his age, according to other people, so people often think I'm nursing a 2 year old when he is only 14 months. I don't care what they say and I don't allow people to make comments about it in front of him. I don't want ds made to feel embarrassed or ashamed about nursing in public as he gets older.

when people say things like, 'oh aren't you a big boy to still be nursing" I just say, "Please don't undermine my parenting in front of my son." And that shuts them up.
