I'm done...

with pumping. I cut back to once a day a few weeks ago and yesterday just didn't. So today I am not either. Sooo weird, but also freeing.

I plan to continue nursing indefinitely, but I'm so ready to let go of the pump. And she is too. She's perfectly happy with oat, rice, and hemp milk during the day and nursing when she's with me.

Still, it feels like such a huge milestone! Someone tell me I'm not a horrible mother for quitting?

You're an awesome mother. What a gift you've given your daughter!

Great job!
I actually felt like a "better" mother after I quit pumping... I could use those few minutes at work to relax or have some grown-up conversation and it made me much happier and patient at home.

Headed that way myself in the next month or so. Today I forgot to pump until 3pm and then only got 2 oz. What's the point of that?
