Spotting!

I'm a little panicky because I had a bit of spotting yesterday and then again this morning. It's nothing much, but it's still alarming. I didn't have a single bit of spotting with DS1, so I'm not prepared! I know it can be perfectly normal, but when do I start to be really concerned? If I have any cramping or clots?

Who else has had spotting? I need a bit of reassurance please! I'm prepared to accept whatever happens, as it's really early in this pg, but just the same, I hate not knowing either way! Just 'wait and see'. Ugh!

I had some light spotting in my last pregnancy around the time that my period was do and it ended up being fine. Hope all is well for you.

I'm sorry you have to go through this.

I havent experienced this myself but I wanted to respond because I have read about many people experiencing some light spotting early in pg and the nurse just talked to me about it yesterday. She said to be concerned if its bright red blood, clots, or if it's heavy and assoociated with cramps. Call your dr. if you can't stop worrying because there's no reason to torture yourself.

I had spotting with my last pregnancy right around when my period would have been due, and it was fine too.

I'm sending sticky vibes your way!

Thanks for posting! I appreciate everyone's info, but I'm pretty sure I've miscarried. Bummer! It was pretty early along, at least. Here's hoping for an August baby!
H&H 9 months to the rest of you!

I have had dark brown spotting every time I wipe and enough to wear a panty liner for over a week. I freaked out this morning because I had brown blood trickle out, but I had another u/s today and everything is fine.

The OB said that brown spotting is very common during this time because the placenta is growing into the lining. He described it as "aggressive like a tumor."

It is really nerve racking though!!
