calmom completely OT but I just read your latest blog entry and have tears. God help all those poor abused chickens out there, and THANK God for all the souls like you
Back on topic, we have Celina Rose picked for a girl (were still ttc though Not a mum yet) and I like Rowan for a boy
We have a few names...we'll get it nailed down sooner or later. We do know that we aren't telling our parents any names until our little one is here and named. I don;'t want the suggestions or the comments.
For a girl: I have been obsessed lately w/ the name Sage.
For a boy: I've always wanted Zion. Now DH thinks its ok, but isn't completely sold on it yet. Lately, we've both been really digging the name Phoenix.
Yeah, my husband is obsessed with looking up little boy names online after I've gone to sleep. He's so cute. Boys name are so much harder for us to agree on!
For a girl we have (but this could DEFINITELY change) Amelia Soleil and for a boy our current 2 that we both like are Asher and Alton (like the meaning of Asher more) with Michael (my FIL) as the middle name.
Not sure what it is with us an names that start with an "a" this time. Our 21 month old's name is Roxanne Elise. We cal her Roxie
Songbird- I think many of the Indian names are so beautiful. I cared for a little girl named Sahana, and I still *love* that name.
Oooh... that's a great name. It has musical connotations, too, which would be cute since I'm a musician. I agree about boys names. I think it's so much harder to be creative with them.
Unfortunately, dh has the urge to name a boy after him. I hate that male tendency to have to claim things with a name. He had a fit when I thought about keeping my own last name after we were married. I think it's sh***y to not give a child their own name. We honestly haven't really talked much about names yet. I just don't want to get into that argument yet. Yes- the hormones have kicked in, and I can't stand dh right now.

Hahaha... mine is making me extra happy right now. When I fall asleep by 9:30 every night (vs 3 or 4am before), he gets all of the kids to bed by himself. SO nice right now! I love him.
But trust me... there are times when I'd rather he just stay at work for days. LOL
Stephanie, I've always loved Scarlet, too. We usually end up ruling it out but it's on my list again. It seems to fit better this time since Ruby is the birthstone for July (both reds).
I'm Indian, so I want Indian names. I have lots of girl name ideas (I love Lalitha, Yamini, and Sitara) but no boys' names have stuck out. My cousin named her son Amith and I liked that, but now it's taken!

If we have a boy, his first name will be David... he'll be a third generation David. My FIL is David, my husband is David.. and if we have a boy it will be David. But I don't want to call him David, so middle name it is! It makes hubby happy to carry on that tradition so its really no sweat off my back.

I hate that too. Can you compromise with a middle name spot? And make sure he knows how confusing life will be everytime someone calls you have to ask "which one?"
There will be more I'm sure, but those are the ones that have been tossed around so far. I keep saying them over and over to make sure they flow with the other kids' names. . Jonah, Olivia, Ethan, Grace, Ellie and _______.
Aubrey! That's the most awesome girl's name. That was going to be ds2's name if he was a girl. I still love it and feel attached to it. Isn't it funny how you can get attached to the names you don't end up using? We haven't even considered Aubrey for #3 now, because it was going to be HIS name.

another vote for Aubrey!
I like both the boys names, but Elias looks so close to Ellie, that I'd lean more towards Wyatt (IMHO )
