when i told all my friends in high school (over 12 years ago!) that i was going to name my daughters indigo and lyric, they totally made fun of me.

i still haven't used either name, but i reserve the right to. just so i can send out the birth announcements and imagine the looks on their faces.

did anyone else buy baby name books as an adolescent? i did. i have at least three that were published in the mid-nineties. i've always been obsessed with baby names.

We're thinking Reuben Phillip if it's a boy and Evanda Lee (nickname Eva) if it's a girl. They're all family names. My first one is named Vonnegut (nickname Vonn), so that gives you a sense of our weird taste!
