Flu shot prevents blood clots?

Has anybody heard this?? They reported it on my local news station tonight. The reporter than said "It may just be becase people who get the flu shot lead a more healthy lifestyle." :::

I dunno, but they keep coming up with more and more reasons to get the thing. If it's so dang effective it will sell iteself, no?

That's for sure! Why do they have to use such high-pressure sales gimmicks? Must not be much to it otherwise.
