How many of us are left?

Thread Starter
Just trying to get a gauge on how many of us are still pg.
Obviously I am. Due the 23rd-ish. I have never gone into labor before 40 weeks so I'm expecting to see the 23rd with still no baby.

How bout you??

PS
I'm kind of dumbfounded that I'm going to be shocked into a "well, I guess this is it. The ride has begun and there is no hopping off" conversation with myself within a week and a 1/2 or so.

How are you thinking of the soon to be events?

Me!

40w2d (for another few hours, anyway)... dd (first baby) was born at 39w4d, ds (second) was born at 40w2d but early in the morning. So I am a bit befuddled as to what to expect.

I definitely have had the 'what did I sign up for?!?' feeling a bit lately... I think since 38/39 weeks, I've gone through the emotional signposts of labor except with no labor. First excited, then serious and a little cranky, then REALLY irritable, despairing, and convinced that I don't want to do this anyway. Ha!

I really would like her to make an appearance now, though...

I was going to take the list of the EDDs and then cross-reference that with the birth announcements to see who was left.

Turns out that is an ambitious project for someone with a 3-week-old.

I don't get to post much because I'm usually having to hold the little dude, but I'm reading and hoping for beautiful birth stories from all of you@

I'm due the 23rd as well, but have a RCS scheduled on the 19th. My first 2 came at 41wks, so I'm expecting I'll make it just fine til the 19th. I just can't wait til I'm in and out and home with her, I hate hospitals. I've been having a lot of crampiness along with my regular BH's and I'm just trying to get my last minute things done. Also, I don't remember feeling so exhausted with the other ones, I can get a couple things done and then collapse on the chair for a while before getting up again.

There's still a good number of us left I think.

My EDD is the 17/18th. I've also never gone into labor before 40w4.

I was scared a few days ago about the impending labor, but now I've got this fierce "bring it on" attitude. I just hope this labor is faster than my last one.

I was due on the 8th, but I am still here. I am ready to join the birth announcement list though.... come on baby!!

I'm still here... currently 40 weeks, and almost 5 days.

DD didn't arrive until 41 weeks 5 days. I've told this baby any time is fine with us and there is no pressure to compete with big sister for "longest gestation!" I am so ready to meet this little baby face to face.

Honestly, I'm not so worried about the labor/delivery as I am in the "What have I done?! I've ruined DD's life!" mode for the afterwords. She's going to be a great big sister once the shock wears off.

I'm also a little worried about nursing. DD was a nursing champ and it was by far her favorite past time up until the time she stopped nursing. I loved our time together as a nursing couple. I think I am worried that nursing the baby will be as uncomfortable as it was nursing her in early pregnancy right before she gave it up...I want this nursing experience to be just as good as it was with her or even better.

Still here until Monday when I have a scheduled RCS. I can not wait for her to be here. It is still odd to know exactly when I am giving birth (I have for all of mine), but I love that we can really plan our last family day with just us the way we are now. kwim I am just counting down now.

Me. Currently 39w5d, due Saturday. SO excited for her birth, then panicky about having to bring this little person home and raise her up nice. Hoping to have a little girl this weekend! Good luck to everyone and I'm glad I'm not alone.

I'm still here! I'm due sometime this week (somehow I ended up with three due dates, the 10th, 11th and 14th)

I'm here, and probably will be for a bit still....I'm 38+3, and all 3 of my other kids have been late, so as much as I'd like to go tomorrow, probably won't happen

I've been trying not to overthink the impending labor and birth - just trying to take it as it comes. I'm just soooo eager to finally hold this baby!!

I am 41 +3 as well!! Isnt it lovely! I wish I had found you guys earlier in the pregnancy.. it would have been so much more suppport for me, but better late than never!

I have been contracting all day, they are consistent, just not getting more painful... maybe through the night.. you never know!

I am 41 weeks tomorrow. I am really hoping for a baby this weekend so that Dh can take off of work all next week. However, the baby doesn't seem to be taking requests. I am just so excited to hold the baby on the outside and see what s/he looks like.

i'm still here too.
i'm 39 weeks and 1 day. this whole pregnancy i was absolutely convinced that i would go early, apparently i have no intuition! unfortunately i mentally prepared for everything save for going to/past my due date. oh well! this is my first so it's possible that i've got a lot of time left...if 1 day-3 weeks could be considered a long time? i'm so impatient!
i'm hoping she'll make an appearance any day now!

We're here too.Could be for a while. I'm 37w 1 day.I usually go over 40 weeks, which was fine until week 39 with all the others, but this one has been whipping me around for weeks now!I'm ready to be done!I'd be perfectly happy to go another 3 weeks IF I had either sleep or energy, but I'm getting neither, with random leaking,Bh,cramping, even mucus....Come on, already!Either take a crap, or get off the potty!KWIM?
I could use a good dose of oxytocin right now.
