I've been so preoccupied with my little dude (and the other 3 kiddos) that I havent really been on the net as much.
Anywho, wanted to update!! My little guy is well...not so little anymore!! He's 3.5 months old, almost outgrown his 3 months clothes (mind you he was early so hes actually gotten ahead of schedule!) and he weighs 12 pounds now. He has rolls! Love it!! He started smiling really early (only 4 weeks old, not adjusted) and he hasnt laughed yet but hes getting there.
We also are totally off of bottles and have been since about 2 days after his due date. He just all of a sudden...got it. I'm sure thats helped with his chunkiness! Hes just done so well since coming home.
I've come to terms with his birth and I'm ok with it now. I finally went back for a postpartum visit with my midwives and while I'm still sad I cant see them again, I've found a nice CNM to work with next time. I just hope this doesnt happen again!! In any case, I'm doing another surrogacy in June but beyond that, I'm done having my own.
