Please Help 
I have been having the most difficult time with my allergies. There are two seperate issues: First, my eyes - specifically my right eye. I wear contacts which I change out pretty consistantly. My eyes itch....not just a normal itch, but a kind of itch that if I actually scratched them as I felt they needed- my eyes would no longer be here. I make sure to wash my hands before i touch my eyes but at least 1 -3 times a week I will scratch them and they will react as if I put acid in them. The clear film over my eye ball itself will swell up, my eye will turn bright red, and the skin on my eyelid and below my eye will swell up as if I have been punched in the eye.
Nothing helps except time, and I will have to wait an hour to several hours for it to subside.
Secondly (a little more gross) I have so much phlem in my throat that I could spit every 10 minutes. It's like post nasal drip from hell. I know that some of this is made worse by being pregnant but this has been going on for about 6 months. I am producing more snot than spit and it is consistant no matter what my setting.
At night when I am in bed it is the worst and my throat feels so thick that there feels like there is an obstruction. My house is super clean- I vacuume and dust everyday in our room and don't use any harsh chemicals.
Can one develop a sudden allergy to their pets? Do I have a parasite? I am seriously miserable. I have sceduled an appointment with an allergist but it's not until December 8th.
I just don't know what to do!!!???? Does anyone have any similar symptoms? Can I do something to help this in the meantime.
