The excitement!!! On Wednesday I'll be 37 weeks and able to go to the birthing center! I had another dream about the birth, and again a girl. Is it wierd that I'm actually looking forward to the labor/delivery?

Yay!! Me too. Yesterday we had our 37 week "check list" appointment at my MW's birthing center. We went over all kinds of things we never would have talked about with an OB: what kind of positions I wanted to be in, who would be at the birth and their roles, etc. I was feeling stressed about the birth, but I feel much better. And it's SOOOO exciting to be so close to THE DAY!!

Not weird at all! I'm looking forward to it too. Just to get in my groove and get in the tub and have a beautiful baby at the end!

I just hit 35 wks but I am looking forward to this birth as well. This is my 4th birth and I really enjoy the whole process of bringing a baby into the world. It is powerful, empowering, and amazing! And for me each time it is different which keeps it interesting

I'm looking forward to it too. I'm kind of ready to finally know what all this labor stuff is like. I really want to meet baby and take care of him.

I keep watching shows about labor and delivery and for some reason all those public service announcments about "play with your baby" and "never shake a baby" always seem to be on when I'm about to have a baby. It seems like babies have to pop up when I'm anticipating mine, making the wait even worse. I really want to see who and what has been kicking the crap out of my insides for the past 9 months!
