My DD has Craniosynostosis, this has caused many hospital visits as of recent and many more to come.

My new tag line is It's ok I'll just nurse her

We've nursed through x-rays and a brain ultrasound (they wanted her to lay in a plastic dish, ummmm NO )

Our nursing pillow is flat so its great for exams. We nurse through everything now

Thurs I asked a nurse at hospital for some water, she asked oh for the baby? Umm baby drinks breastmilk, its for me

Oh and if I hear one more time "Are you SURE she doesnt get top ups?" I'll scream

My next battle is nursing her through her CT scan

My ds also had to have a variety of medical procedures, and we nursed through them, too! :

My best friends little boy also had Craniosynostosis...she nursed him through all his procedures! It was lovely!! He's 2.5 years old and doing wonderfuly btw! If you want her email to get a btdt perspective just pm me sorry you are going through this mama!!

I believe it means 'fill up,' as in breastfeed first and then 'top up' with formula, as if breastmilk isn't enough.

Awesome! It is so wonderful you get to nurse during all the medical procedures. Your little one is very blessed to have you as her Mama.
