Anyone knitting or crocheting a scarf/scarves for the Special Olympics?

I've been putting this off, because I HATE the (acrylic) yarn they require and I couldn't find a quick, easy pattern I liked. But that Yarn Harlot pattern looks interesting, and I'm nearly finished with all my little Christmas chatchkey gifts. I think I'll cast one on tonight and see how things go.

Giving this a bump, because it's a worthy cause and just about any knitter/crocheter can bang out a quick scarf! I started mine with the YH pattern and it's coming along nicely ... it actually resembles the ribby crocheted version they show on the candc site.
