I am 21 years old. I have been looking for an online community that supports a more natural approach to pregnancy and raising children. My beautiful son was born on November 2, 2010. I planned to have a natural birth, but after being in labor for 27 hours the doctor ordered an emergency c-section. Sigh. My son was born at 7.5 lbs and now he is a chubby and intelligent little guy. He has been exculsivley breastfed and I am so proud of us! I like to tell my friend's (formula feeding mothers) that I am still breastfeeding and plan to keep on doing so until my son decides he would rather eat something else. It's a little challenging because I am going to school and working. I would absolutely love being a stay-at-home mother for the time being. |

I love to cook. I have been preparing new vegan-vegetarian dishes in hopes of converting my boyfriend. :) It's a process. I figure It will take a little convincing (Same approach as the whole breastfeeding and cloth diaper wearing thing). |

Aside from being a Mommy, I work with at-risk youth in my community. I motivate them to acheive their educational and occupational goals. |
