Physicist of the atmospheric variety, and mother. One beautiful, living, 5-yo boy. One baby miscarried at 12 weeks. Currently pregnant for the third time, and hoping like mad that I will get another living child out of the deal. |

Bicycling (though have not been doing it in the first trimester b/c I've been too sick), rock climbing (ditto), knitting strange creatures as well as useful wearable articles, gardening, clucking at my backyard chickens. |

I am a graduate student studying the physics of the atmosphere, ocean, sea ice, and their interactions with each other. Hoping to graduate with the big PhD in another three years. Enjoying having the wretched title of of 'climate scientist'. |
