A great cover for the price

Posted

Pros: Inexpensive, reliable, FIts well, cute prints

Cons: Stink issues hard to get rid of on PUL

I have used Thirsties as a cover for this babe almost the entire time. I had to upsize to the size 2 around 4 months instead of the 9 months the cover says. Perhaps this is because I tri fold a prefold inside of these covers instead of over a fitted. My babe was not larger than her peers.   These are inexpensive, cute prints, fit well, and get the job done....   I have 4 covers in size 2 which I have used for about 6 months. I have stink issues and wicking issues that have developed in the last month. This could be the fault of myself, but the truth is I don't know how. I've read the CD"ing sites and am just wondering if I didn't rotate enough or wash enough.  ...

Great to have in your first aid kit

Posted

Pros: Softens skins, good product for an assortment of needs

Cons: None really

I would not use this as a diaper cream (I use plain organic coconut oil for that and have had wonderful luck!) but Bag Balm is a wonderful product that I always make sure I have in my first aid kit. Skin softening can't be beat! Slather some on your feet and put them in socks at night - so nice in the morning! Works wonderful on sunburn too..

Nothing Fancy, but gets the job done..

Pros: Inexpensive, reliable

Cons: Not something you can pass on through multiple kids

I had chubby muffins, so I have no complaints about the fit. I found the Proraps fit well enough in a fluffy butt kind of way. These are inexpensive and reliable diaper covers. Never had a leak. Cleaning was simple enough and smells didn't build up any faster or slower compared to any other polyester/pul covers.   The diaper covers I had (2) lasted through 2 kids well enough; but not long beyond that. I was overall happy with the covers, but I also had simple expectations: That they be cheap & keep pee from going every where.   I would buy a Prorap again to try them out, it  has been a few years. Currently though, I use Thirsties (as far as a PUL cover goes).

Boba 3g - Love it

Pros: High Quality, Comfortable, Stylish, Good for infant & toddler, Can fit plus size (I'm a 3-4x on top when nursing) and can fit med. stature DH.

Cons: You may have to fiddle with it a bit until you get a good fit., May be difficult to nurse in

Hello Mothering Reader :) I am going to throw out the FULL DISCLOSURE up front : I am writing this review for the Boba 3g that I received to test out. I have not been paid monetarily for my review of this carrier, but I did receive the carrier in exchange for my honest opinion. Since I already have the carrier, I gain nothing by claiming it is awesome if it is not.   I say all this in order that I may gush unashamedly.   THIS CARRIER IS AWESOME! I have used so many different carriers in my 9 years of baby wearing and child rearing. Slings. Mei teis, pouch slings, even the baby bjorn back in its hey day.   I'm a plus sized mama, so the reality is that...
