dd is ebf at 5 months. we went to a party on sunday I used a new conditioner and didn't read the ingredients on myself only. it has soybean protein and soybean otherstuff (says soybean about 3 times on the bottle). I didn't think to look. at the party she was passed around. she might have been touched by something (tons of food she couldn't eat if she was at an eating age). I thought everyone knew of her allergies, but maybe someone gave her a finger to lick? then on Monday I took some Claritin (pediatricin told me to take it instead of sudafed, I am so stuffed up) Well it did nothing for me. Later I look at the package : Lactose on the label.
She reacts to dairy, soy, eggs, chocolate, and peanuts.
Call me crazy but the night before all of this I had a dream that I left both kids in the other room with relatives and when I came back dd's face was full of chocolate. and then I continued to stress out(call the doctor, cry, etc) the rest of the dream.
She started out with a rash, then throwing up then the eczima dots came back and today dark brown mucusy stool. Her stool had just turned yellow with no blood or mucus the middle of last week.
Do you think it could have been the conditioner or the medicine (both used only on me) or something else?

Honestly, I vote for someone feeding her something she shouldn't have eaten. I don't think lactose (already unlikely to be allergenic) in a allergy suppressant or an ingredient in shampoo not even used on her would cause such GI distress. I mean, it's possible, but my money's on someone at the party. Whatever the cause, I'm sorry she's having a reaction :(

My bet is some peanut protein at the party. It is everywhere and only a small amount causes reactions.

Our dreams are information. :goodvibes:
