Three years ago I saw a beat up plastic and metal jigsaw puzzle making machine on sale at the grocery store for 6 dollars. I though this will never work, but it was so cheap I gave it a try. I print out whatever I want a puzzle of, put it on foam with a sticky backing, and punch out puzzles. It takes about 5 minutes per puzzle. It works great. So for the last three years when I send Christmas cards, I enclose a jigsaw puzzles of my DS and DD. Everyone loves them and says what a great idea.

What's your best under 10 bucks gift idea?

I just made crayon blocks for all of the little kiddos in our family. I used broken crayons from ds's stash, melted them in the oven and poured them into ice cube trays, then froze them for about 10 minutes. Wrapped them in waxed paper with some Christmas ribbon. Total cost- $1.00 for ice cube trays from the dollar store.
