Lighter positive 1 1/2 days later HELP!

I need reassurance please.

I tested 11 dpo with FRER at 7 pm and got a positive, very clear but not dark at all. Then 1 1/2 days later at 13 dpo using FMU I got a lighter positive. Is this a sign of impending m/c or am I not supposed to compare lines? The second stick came in the same box. I expected to see a darker line but my midwife said that hpts are not designed to measure how much hcg is rising.

Also my temps have been up and so far today at 15 dpo no bleeding yet but I'm not planning to test again.

Has anyone experienced this and succeed with their pgcies?

I did get a lighter line this time after tester and getting a dark line...but it was a different brand of test than the first one I did. At this point, it is very early, and it really depends on how much hormone is in your urine. I would probably just wait it out and see. I know it is hard. I hope it all works out well. :)

It all depends on the concentration of your urine at the time. I tested four different times over four or five days (yes, I know, I'm a freak) and got varied shades of line every time. I finally went to a clinic and the very nice nurse said to me, "A line is a line is a line. You're pregnant, honey." So you're probably fine, and drank more water before the last time you tested or something!
