I have a dear friend in in the Yarmouth area who is looking for some friendship and support... and here I am eexiled way down in Tennessee right now! :( We IM every day, but she really needs some real-life pals...

She is a WAHM with a 2 y/o girl and another on the way...

I sent you an email with some local (portland area at least) links to a yahoo group that most of the mothering Maine mamas use and a multiage playgroup that we have for alt parents. In case you didn't receive it, the pertinent details are

Mindful Maine Mamas (& Papas)
playgroup
1st and 3rd Mondays 10 to noon at 515 Woodfords, Portland (St. Ansgar Lutheran Church) free
Mamas' night out last Monday night of the month (place changes)

Hoping that she finds some folks to connect with; it can get awful batty with a toddler and little support.
